What is Peptide Content?

What is peptide content?

When a peptide is produced and purified, the final product contains the molecule of interest plus any associated counter ions and residual solvents which are present in the lyophilisate. Thus, it is important to realize that when preparing a stock solution of the peptide, one must take the content value into account to get an accurate concentration. Many of our products supplied by the Peptide Institute have already taken this content into account in their precision vialed products which are dissolved in a specific volume to give easily reproducible results.
